Ingrid began her studies of Chinese medicine many years ago, having discovered its transformative healing effects first hand. She obtained her undergraduate degree in psychology and religious studies from the U of MN and worked in the mental and chemical health field for many years. Feeling discouraged with the limitations of the biomedical model and wanting to do more to help people on their healing journey she became certified in shiatsu massage, a Japanese form of bodywork based in Traditional Chinese Medicine principles. In 2004 she completed her studies in Acupuncture and Herbal medicine at AAAOM in Roseville MN. In addition to Chinese medicine, Ingrid has
a passion for learning and practicing a wide array of mind-body and energy healing techniques. She utilizes her broad knowledge base to enhance her acupuncture sessions, applying her intuitive insights into the session and applying what is needed to achieve lasting results.
Ingrid loves being in natural surroundings and in her spare time
she can be found in the woods hiking or on lakes canoeing. She also loves the arts and creativity, and enjoys playing piano and painting the occasional watercolor.
