Recent Scandia resident Laura Libby has been a dancer, teacher, healer and merrymaker for the last 30 years. Receiving her 600-hour certification from Center Point School of Massage Therapy in 1997, Laura’s specialties include deep tissue, trigger point therapy, Swedish, prenatal and relaxation massage. She finds her diverse experience as a professional dancer, group fitness instructor and massage therapist gives her a unique sense of intuition and understanding of the body which helps her to better understand each client’s unique need. Laura is excited to bring collective healing and support to Loon Holistic Health and the Greater Community. As life-long practitioner of Hatha Yoga in the Himalayan tradition, Laura benefits from three generations of yogic study and received her 200-hour teacher-training certification through CorePower Yoga Minneapolis in 2007. Laura began teaching NIA, a moving meditation practice combining dance, martial arts and healing arts in 2021 after completing both her White & Green Belt trainings. She’s also a certified Menopause Support Coach whose classes, workshops and 1 to 1 coaching focus on helping women build physical strength, expand mindset and explore inner spirit. Laura has a deep desire to move people to discover their truest potential and empower them to live life with more pleasure and joy. She enjoys spending time with her family, travel and anything related to ice cream.

Christine has been working in the medical field for almost 30 years. As a self-proclaimed science nerd, she obtained an undergraduate degree in Psychology, Chemistry and Pre-med from the University of Minnesota. With a desire to spark young scientific minds, she received her Master’s Degree in Education from St. Kate’s. Christine is a voracious student of alternative healing practices. She applied her learnings to heal herself from a life-threatening illness. Her passion for all things wellness led to completing coursework to become a Health Coach and a Certified Reiki I & II Practitioner.

In her spare time, Christine loves being outdoors in nature, practicing yoga, taking care of 2 senior horses and spending time at the lake.

Dawn started her career as a therapist after receiving her first master’s degree from Hazelden Graduate School. She worked for seven years treating men, women, and youth with addiction and mental health issues at Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, Pride Institute, and Lino Lake Prison. During that time she yearned for a medical system that incorporates natural healing and received her second Master’s Degree in Chinese Medicine from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2016. During her career as an acupuncturist, she has had success treating hundreds of patients with complex medical issues.

She is board certified and licensed by the Minnesota State Medical Board. She has experience giving acupuncture treatments at Salvation Army, Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Center, Penny George Institute for Health and Healing, Fairview Hospital, Bloomington Natural Care Center, Pathways Health Crisis Resource Center, Fertile Ground Natural Care, and she is the owner of Merriam Park Acupuncture, a large clinic in St. Paul. https://mpacupuncture.com/

A native of Bloomington, MN, she received her undergraduate degree of Biology from Northern Michigan University. Dr. Brittany worked at 3M in the Critical and Chronic Care solutions division. It was at that point Dr. Brittany realized she desired to serve others on the proactive end of healthcare! She went on to pursue a Doctorate of Chiropractic at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN.

While in chiropractic school, Dr. Brittany learned about the body’s ability and potential to heal itself. After being under chiropractic care, Dr. Brittany began seeing changes in her own life such as increased energy levels, improved moods, and stronger immune system! These experiences have shaped Dr. Brittany’s desire to assist people in realizing their true potential in health.

Dr. Brittany is constantly striving for excellence. She has traveled around the country to learn the most advanced techniques to best serve the community. Dr. Brittany is a neurologically based chiropractor therefore focusing on the health and function of the nervous system to get to the root cause of health challenges.

Outside of the office, you can find Dr. Brittany relaxing with her husband and son, hiking with her dogs, kayaking and spending time at the cabin.
